A new recipe! Our Rosy Radish Slaw is a gorgeous blend of fresh ingredients.
I know that I am always trying to figure out what to do with my radishes and so this recipe is a fun one. I love the simplicity of it and the combination of veggies which we sometimes don't know what to do with! It also creates a visually stunning dish, with colours ranging from delicate pinks to deep purples, it is so pretty on the table. A great one for guests.
You can serve it as a refreshing side dish or as a flavourful topping for tacos or sandwiches, this Rosy Radish Slaw is easy to make, nutritious and colourful and tastes delicious!
9 ingredients that you will need :
3 small limes
Apple cider vinegar
Olive oil
Maple syrup or honey
Salt
Purple cabbage
5-6 radishes
1 jalapeño
A bunch of cilantro
How to :
1. Mix up your dressing
¼ cup lime juice (about 3 small limes)
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
½ teaspoon salt
2. Slice and chop up your veggies
1 red onion, thinly sliced (2 cups)
4 cups thinly sliced purple cabbage (about ½ medium cabbage)
1 cup thinly sliced radishes
1 small jalapeño, seeds and membranes removed, chopped
½ cup chopped cilantro
3. Mix it all together and let sit 10 mins minimum before eating.
